Child Sponsorship

Thank you for your interest in becoming a "Child Sponsor." By becoming a "Child Sponsor," you are committing to a monthly pledge of $40 that will help provide a child with such things as nutritious food, clean water, a home, health care, education, and spiritual nurturing and training. Below are some of the children that we currently are caring for at our Orphanages.

Below are the bios for each of the children we currently have in the orphanages.

Stephen 8 years
He came from the state of Uttar Pradesh in Northern India. He was born and brought up in a Muslim family. His father died of sickness when he was a baby. Because of the shock his mother became mentally ill and deserted him. He was left alone without anyone to help him. Miraculously his uncle became a Christian and married a girl from the state of Kerala. Her pastor heard about Stephen and brought him to our children’s home. His old name is Oscim. He is very happy and growing spiritually, emotionally and physically. Become a child sponsor

Mathew 10 years
My name is Mathew and I am the elder brother of Stephen. I was born and brought up in a Muslim family. My father died of sickness and my mother became mentally ill. I came to the M.I.M children’s home. Here I learned to pray to Jesus and sing songs. I love to sing. Please pray for me. Thank you. Become a child sponsor

Elizabeth 12 years
I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. My father worked for daily wages. Because of the poverty at home there was strife in the family and my father began to drink. He abused my mother physically. My mother threatened to commit suicide but my father didn’t stop his daily abuse. One day my mother committed suicide by pouring Kerosene on herself and setting herself ablaze. My father left home and never came back again. I was with my grandmother but there was no food or proper clothing. I stopped going to school because there was no money. One pastor brought me to M.I.M children’s home. Here I receive nice food and clothing. Now I am going to school and am happy and love Jesus for all that He has done for me. Become a child sponsor

Susan 8 years
I am the younger sister of Elizabeth. I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. My father worked for daily wages. Because of the poverty at home there was strife in the family and my father began to drink. He abused my mother physically. Leah 8 years
I am Leah and was born and brought up in a very poor family. My father worked for daily wages in a farm. What he was making was not enough to sustain our family. There was no food or peace in my home. One day my father left us and never came back. My mother became so sad and went to work as a servant in a nearby house. She was not able to take care of me or send me to school. One Pastor brought me to M.I.M children’s home. Here I am happy and have good friends that love me and to play with. Become a child sponsor

Jasmine 12 years
I was born and brought up in a Hindu family. We used to live in a very small hut. We didn’t have anything in our home. One day my mother heard about Jesus through an evangelist and became a Christian. My father didn’t like it and began to abuse her physically and verbally to renounce her faith. She was not willing and my father left us for another woman. He comes back often to abuse my mother and us. One day he beat my mother so bad that her eyes and face turned black and blue. I was not happy and didn’t know what to do. One pastor brought us to the children’s home and there I found my new life. I love to sing and dance. Become a child sponsor

Hannah 8 years
I was born and brought up in a Muslim family. My mother was a Muslim and my father was a Catholic. My father was a very nice person but used to drink. One day he was cutting a coconut tree and it fell on him and he died on the spot. From that day onwards our life turned upside down. There was no food at home. I have one younger sister. My mother couldn’t go to work because of us. One day she went to Pastor Abraham’s church. He was preaching that day and my mother gave her life to the Lord. We began to go to church and I was accepted in the children’s home. Now I am happy and thank you. Become a child sponsor

James 16 years
He has one brother. His father went to the forest to catch wild animals. The family lived in a tent. He had some schooling at a young age. His family could not afford to keep him. He became a Christian at the orphanage and is very happy now. He wants to be a pastor. Become a child sponsor

Glory 18 years
She was one of eleven children. Six of her siblings died because of poverty. They had no house, but lived in a tent in the woods. Her father was too old to work. Her mother became blind and mute. Her mother used to take her to work and if she didn’t work hard enough she would beat her with sticks and even stab her. She remembers being hungry much of the time. A pastor brought her to the orphanage because of what he saw God doing there. She is so happy now because of the way God has provided for her. Because of her prayers she is seeing good changes in her family. She wants to be a pilot. Become a child sponsor

Joseph 12 years
Joseph is Glory’s youngest brother. She used to care for him and had to stay home from school to do it since he was three months old. He is very happy now. He wants to be a jeep driver. Become a child sponsor

Mark 13 years
He has two brothers. His father died from a snakebite. His mother works in the paddy fields. He was most recently staying with his grandfather but neither he nor his mother could afford to keep him. They were devout Hindus. He likes studying and going to school. He loves Jesus because He has done great things for him. He wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Become a child sponsor

Daisy 14 years
Her father died when she was four years old from a sickness. There were seven children in the family. Her mother started bringing her to work at the quarry when she was four years old. It was harsh there and there was no food. Now she loves Jesus and loves everybody at the orphanage. A pastor referred her. As an adult she would like to be a doctor. Become a child sponsor

Daniel 12 years
He has two brothers. He came to the orphanage at the beginning of 2002. His father committed suicide because he couldn’t make his payments on a tractor after having an accident. His mother was working in the paddy fields. There was no food at home, only the lunch provided by his school. One of his older brothers went to work for a construction company. He was a Hindu. He heard about the orphanage and was accepted in. He found Jesus. He is very happy now. He wants to be a pastor. Become a child sponsor

Abigail 11 years
Her father died from electric shock from an electric fence. Her mother was so desperate she gave poison to herself and Abigail’s sisters. Abigail ran off to get her grandmother but by the time they got there her mother and two sisters had died. She is happy now and wants to be a restaurant worker. David 17 years
He has one brother and one sister. His father worked for a match company. He got into an accident with his company vehicle and lost his job. His father was very abusive at home. After he lost his job they had no money to keep the children. One time David and a friend were high in the air jumping from tree to tree when they both fell. His friend broke and lost his leg, but David felt that God protected him from harm. He was a practicing Hindu but is now a happy Christian. He wants to be a pastor. Become a child sponsor

Benjamin 11 years
His father left the family and married another woman. His mother worked in a cashew factory. He has two older brothers. All of his extended family, including fifteen cousins, was living with his grandmother in a small house. It was crowded and there was a lot of fighting. His uncle beat his mother. He came to the orphanage at the beginning of 2003. He is happy now and has many new brothers and sisters. He accepted Jesus as his savior. He wants to be a bulldozer driver when he grows up. Become A Child Sponsor

There are a couple of ways that you can submit your tax deductible monthly sponsorship pledge.

1. You can mail checks/money orders directly to us. If you are going to be mailing in a check/money order, you must go to and complete the "Child Sponsorship Registration Form" first. After you have completed the registration form you can start sending in your monthly pledge by the first of the month. Make check/money order payable to "Maximum Impact Ministries" and note it for "Child Sponsorship" and address it to:

2. You can also submit your monthly pledge using a credit card or electronic check by clicking on the "Payment Plan" button below. This will register you to have your monthly pledge automatically deducted every month from your credit card. Choose the button that is appropriate for how many children you wish to sponsor.
